Purpose of Establishment
As a human being North Korean people have forfeited the basic human rights and freedom. North Korea government has infringed on North Korean peoples' rights of freedom and life. Many different types of infringements are the freedom of thought, religion, expressions and residential mobility, confidential executions, inhumane treatments and discriminations, kidnapping foreigner and operation of political prison camps.
Although North Korean defectors who escaped from the persecutions and human rights' violations of North Korean government, have the rights to be protected as a refugee based on the mandatory of international law, they are forcibly sent to North Korea by third countries including China.
North Korean defectors who are forcibly sent back to North Korea are going through crucial human rights violations in places like detention camp, gathering place of National Security Agency, labor training camp, re-education prison camp and political prison camp.
Collecting human rights violation cases of forcibly repatriated North Korean people and spreading these to the international society, INKHR is established on the purpose of accomplishing Righteous unification through promotion and improvement of North Korean human rights.
